That's right- this Ibanez GIO model is going for a near $1K in the after-market. If you are such a seller & others probe your intentions politely, do reply cordially. Do not refute the fact that others may be more in the know than you do.

This nonsense happens far too often and these people just delete any comments that say otherwise on their posts. Some clown was recently trying to sell his Squier for 1.5k making claims about how limited edition it was. There was also another person who firmly believed his Edwards LP was a "lawsuit" guitar because Gibson had sued them according to him and wouldn't go through the trouble of a simple google search to clarify.
Those Fender Squier- the 80s model made in Japan- are worth something. The rest of the Squiers- we know where they belong in the Fender empire. These people who don't know what they are dealing with, they are in part denial when coming to terms with the worth of what they actually own.
