This happened last week- Yamaha now owns Ampeg.
If we are looking too hard for successful commercial diversifications, Yamaha should be one of the top contenders. I respect this kind of acquisition where the parent company identifies an external brand name that could further their commercial potential & not something that would plunge them into uncertainty.
Gibson should learn from these people.
