Vaporizer (Fender content)

This is a new one by Fender, its very retro looking Vaporizer amp. It hails from the Pawn Shop series of gear so it has a good mix of retro vibe as well as a contemporary feel so nothing feels old. Just a tasty back-dating to proceedings.

The Vaporizer is a 12W all tube amp featuring a pair of 10" drivers as seen here. It may not be your thing if you are a fan of the 12" but Fender's 10", especially featured as a couple, has some of the tastiest cleans around so don't dismiss it just yet.

Simple set of controls would make you more focused on your playing, yes? The 2-input feature here further underscores the fact that it's made for some pleasant cleans.

Fender 2013: Pawn Shop Mustang

How can I not like the Mustang bass? I own one, it's a shorter-scaled unit (30") so it's a likable bass for guitar dweebs like me. This 2013, the Mustang bass is still a Japanese make but it features a humbucker so it's something I am considering. I was gonna go with a full scale bass this year because I don't own any of such basses in the mean time. The last good one had a history with my dad but I'm trying to forget that episode... sheesh.

Fender 2013: Super-sonic

Flashback '90s- Squier has this Super-sonic model in the Vista Series of instruments. That's right, it's based on a reverse Jaguar model with a modified cutaway to ensure the upper frets are accessible at the treble side.

Some 20 years later, the Super-sonic reappears in Fender's Pawn Shop range (new 2013). Evidently, they dug up & re-hashed the Squier design with a significant slant for the neck humbucker. I actually want one :-)

The Fender Pawnshop Series- I've been looking at these guitars lately (online pics), I won't be the only one to deem them quirky but they do appeal to us for some quaint reasons. I find them reasonably priced as well for a Japanese manufacture so it's a matter of feeling & hearing them in action before choosing which one would be the rightful pick.
