RGBs

Not everyone's cup of tea when it comes to bass but the Ibanez RGB  basses are available in Swee Lee now. Seen above: RGB300 (List: $449)

For $50 more, you can get the 5-string version (RGB305). These basses pretty much bowed out of the catalogues back then when the SR models were released. The RG design might be a hit with players but manifesting a bass version makes it a little less wieldy & in need of certain player ergonomics which the SR design addressed.

Return of the RGB

This was a summer release by Ibanez but the coverage was next to non-exixtent. The RGB is back. Ibanez is keeping it in the entry level range in the mean time (Model 300), there are only two models in the mean time; this 4-string version & a 5-string counterpart. We'll see how this would pan out at the turn of the year.
