Schecter: Banshee Elite

I've had a go at the current batch of Schecter Banshee guitars at Davis GMC & they are wonderful players which deserve a mention for its bolt-on make (& flat body top), unlike the majority of other Schecters in the store which are set-neck models. The manufacturer had recently expanded the range to include a through-neck model- the Banshee Elite.

The range includes a fixed bridge variant as well. Regardless of the circumstances, I would like to get my hands on the bolt-on make first, a fixed bridge version, please.

Banshee 2014

This is something to look forward to come 2014, the Schecter Banshee model will be offered in a fixed bridge version, 7 & 8-string selections will also be available. The Banshee is indeed one of my preferred bolt-on guitars out there, just the right reference to dispel the bolt-on-is-inferior myth.

Banshee fix

Good news indeed (at least to me)- Schecter is releasing the Banshee model in a fixed bridge version. In fact, shipment starts this December. The current Banshee sports a Floyd Rose bridge & retails for $950, so this non-whammy version- you guessed it- shouldn't cost more :-)

Schecter 2013: The screaming demon

I like what I'm seeing from Schecter's 2013 range. This Banshee here is one of them- the works! Looks to be a promising shred machine (but we know it's more than just shred) with a pair of Duncan's JB/'59 & a Series 1000 Floyd Rose bridge. Thumbs up!
