Too many dead batteries

These dead batteries accumulate over the months, the 9Vs are definitely from my guitar pedals, the rest are from tuners, alarm clocks, door bells, torch lights & remote controls. All these are sent to the neighbourhood recycling bin. I should be having lesser dead batteries this time round as I'm using more rechargeables & adaptor for the pedals (which I seldom play).

PPE: Regular batteries

I'm using regular batteries in my Pocket POD Express in defiance of the manufacturer's recommendations- they believe in alkaline power. The device ran out of power today after some 3hrs worth of total playing time.

9V batteries

I'm not one to employ a power source (they hum your output) to my pedals, call me old school but my way is the battery way. I'm also not keen on the alkaline pedigree, this sustains the pedal on reduced power & affects tone (especially for drive/ distortion/ fuzz units). The batteries you see above are what I currently use. I'm very impressed with the Vinnic as it is the longest lasting & costs $0.90 per piece.
