This is a neat little ditty by Marshall; the
MG2FX- very portable & user friendly.

I'm rather interested in it but it requires
adaptor powering which would be hum inducing...

... & it lacks a
midrange control. However, I've heard it in use & would endure the setbacks just to enjoy the good tones on board. KIV, definitely.

Hi,
It looks like that MG2FX can be run on batteries, would that not solve the hum issue? Looks like an interesting little amp.
Anyways, first post, so i have to say that i love this blog. Been a daily reader for almost a year now. Keep up the good work :)
thanks for the visit- really appreciate it :-)
the down-side to battery power is that the overdrive would be affected once the batteries drain... why settle for a half-baked tone when you decide to part good money for something you believe in?
OK, didnt know that about batteries. Im still a beginner and have my practise amp. It gives good cleans imho. Got a lot to learn and a long way to go before getting another amp :)
Still its great fun reading this blog!
small practice amps have great cleans to propel pedal/ multi-FX tones :-)
still chugging my micro-cube for practice... good practice amp, but bad if connected with pedals mainly distortions, since it's already have built-in effects
seems the MicroCUBE has limited offerings in the clean zone to let your pedals breathe through.
Does this Model have a fuse??? And were can it be found ???
