PRS' S2 Singlecut Standard is just the S2 Singlecut with a pickguard. Everything else should be identical, yes? I now own both models & noticed the rounder, more 'wooly' tone coming from the Standard's neck humbucker. Also, the split coil tones from the neck humbucker is less twangy. I've messed with the pickup height a little to hear if this is causing the difference but there's no notable tonal difference after this episode. Whatever the case, I'm doing away with these pickups soon.
