Recently, Ibanez teamed up with JTC for this pick. It goes to show that a harder pick material coupled with a certain fundamental thickness would enhance playing efficiency, effectiveness & precision. The thing is, this formula/ approach is not new. Jim Dunlop dedicated the Stubby series in acknowledgement of this progressive design. We also have manufacturers like Gravity & V-Pick , among others, upholding this philosophy so Ibanez is a little late coming into the game. Maybe better late than never.
