Fender now (2021) has a personal headphone amp very much in the likes of Vox's amPlug units - the Mustang Micro. Unlike others in the market, Fender has included some details that should appeal in terms of variety; amps / effects modules, EQ section, etc.
To cater to today's generation of digital embrace, there are features allowing the players a recording output & firmware updates.
My experience with such devices - a novelty purchase. Many of us have enough digital arsenal at home to cater to an uninterrupted personal experience. In many instances, it's more than what the Mustang Micro has to offer. I don't see any domestic musicians needing one of these to fulfil their on-the-move musical inspiration. I think we could all agree that headphone guitar tones are something to be desired as well. Nothing beats a studio monitor experience when it comes to a digital set up.
