Would you pay $2,179 for this Sterling Sabre? Yes, it has some eye candy here; flame maple neck, Fluence pickups, locking tuners... but would you?
EDIT: The listing for this instrument had been removed as at 12th Aug.
Also, would you pay $1K for the Squier version of Tom Delonge's signature Strat?

FYI, the sterling sabre from SL site is not even an accurate image. They uploaded the Music Man Sabre version’s image (with the flamey neck, bells+whistles) for the Sterling by Music Man model. It’s quite disappointing that such ‘simple mistakes’ can seep thru. It’s not the first time they used wrong image to represent a product. Sadly it can be misleading and cause potential buyers to make incorrect purchase decisions. They should just take lessons from Sweetwater, Andertons, Chicago Music Exchange’s guitar gallery to display their products accurately, considering SL a big entity in the SEA region. What do you think bro Sub?
🤦🏽♂️ It's not the first. There were many errors in other listings - mostly cut & paste errors. I do call them out if I come across them as this, to me, is crucial for buyers in helping them make pre-purchase decisions. I just feel they can be more pro-active by rewarding those who do this, maybe giving them a $3 credit / voucher, not much but it goes a long way in keeping details / info accurate & adding on to the company's goodwill. It also builds rapport with the guitar community out there.
