These are my string cutters. Affordable ones, of course, nothing fancy. A cost more than B. However, A had proven itself unworthy; look at all those dents at the edges. Implication - the material used to make A was softer than guitar strings. Yes, all it did was to cut strings, none of them were steel. Over time, I was unable to cut thin plain strings, especially the high E (.009) & B (.011) & that's when I knew A's good life had come to its terminal point. Reality check - everything has its good life, termination is inevitable.
