Selling: Montreux Knebworth

This used to be my favourite pedal back in the day when I still embraced the amp's clean channel. It has a booster feature so it's like 2 pedals in 1 & it did good for my solos. The tones on offer here are basically tube-esque Marshall voicings with an option to scream (boost). It's not even the modern Marshall tone, somewhere in the Bernie Marsden drive territory.

In view of my unemployment in a few days' time, I'm letting this go to, hopefully, tide things through the year end. Box included. As you can see from these pics, it's been well taken care of.

New department

New from the Blackstar camp - Department 10 tube laden pedals. Some of us had been through Blackstar's initial foray of tube pedals, the HT series. Those were quite a hit when they first debuted but they did not really latched onto any pedal geek's long term interest. This is the subsequent tube in a pedal adventure & they went one up by turning it into a speaker / mic emulator as well if you are into DAWs & stuff. The range consists of a boost, overdrive & distortion unit in the mean time. McRocklin here will show you the dynamics of one of them:

Empress: Multidrive

Finally, what I wanted- the Empress Multidrive. I'm not a boutique brand fan, in fact, I urge you to find a standard equivalent of what a boutique brand offers if it's within your means & invest in that alternative instead. Too many boutique brand names wax lyrical about the superior components featured in their products only to fall below your tonal expectations when you hear it in action. The Multidrive pedal here is a favourable product not because it's a boutique brand name item but it was conceived with practicality in mind. It offers the player 3 drive modules so one need not carry 3 individual pedals instead. Even in distortion mode, the player has 3 voicings to choose from. Together with a 3-band EQ, it's endless tinkering, tone-wise. Bonus- the pedal isn't heavy at all.

Billy goes pedal-ing

Here's a new one by EBS- it's a signature Billy Sheehan bass pedal, it's a drive unit with on-board compressor feature. There's a loop access there, that's the plus.
