Headless!

An initial glimpse of the new Allan Holdsworth headless Carvins. When he performed at the Esplanade, he wasn't seen with a (Carvin) Fatboy so we know what's been in the works.

New for 2012: Fender's Select Series. Fenders with flame maple top... everyone else had been doing it, yes?

Ibanez: S470

Here's another available-but-not-here model; Ibanez S470 in mahogany oil finish. Is the S-series coming back in more stained finishes rather than solid colours? Regardless, I am definitely interested.

On the topic of a shorter-scaled guitars, Ibanez has this GIO Destroyer in the MIKRO series; it's only 22" from nut to bridge. The interesting guitars are everywhere but here. BUMMER.
