Oranged HR
Yesterday, I made an appointment with Beez to have an Orange cap in my ESP Horizon. Before I left home, there's this urge to check which default cap ESP uses for the guitars so I took a peep under the cover & saw an Orange cap already in there. This was a surprise because my ESP Phoenix came with no Orange in the circuitry. The ESP brand name reflects quality in its product offering, this is definitely an aspect of that. Salute!

so are Orange capacitors a brand or a type? I'm interested in what the cap swap achieves?
Orange Drop is a capacitor type by the manufacturer, Sprague. if you are referring to the guitar featured in this post, there's no cap swapping; the orange is there by default. in general, specific cap types/ brand names would affect the tone width & the guitar's overall voicing
horizon-iii, my fav guitar in ur collections (other than vanguard)
the ESP guitars are getting the better of me... slowly but surely :-)
