Do take note of the revised GIO decal (with immediate effect); I personally find the inclusion of the 'tick' motif to be complementary to the headstock design. The Prestige decal looks empty without that inclusion & places too much emphasis on the 'Prestige' label; to me, it loses class.

I don't think the Prestige models lose class by not having the 'tick' mark on the headstock. However, I do think it loses some of its brand recognition since the headstock shape and the tick mark has been so closely identified with the Ibanez name for so many years.
to me class means retaining identity.
