Next on my clearance list: Sound Drive SG-612R (head only). 60W of great solid state tone. I know what you are thinking; it's solid state, how enticing could it be? Then you've not heard this amp in action.
If you are looking for a formidable lead tone without notes being muffled, this amp should be a consideration.
Further queries welcomed (reply this post or e-mail me). Asking price: $359 (final). Thanks for reading.

Hi sir, Just to inquire about the Sound drive products, Read your older posts and I saw that it no longer comes with celestions, is it still worth buying? (As most of your post described the Clarity coming from the celestions.)
Gd morning Vince :-)
if you are referring to the product above- it's a head only, no cabs included.
the current generation of SD 60W/100W combos are indeed devoid of Celestion drivers. they still sound superb but the tone generated is slightly different. we hear a smoother distortion response coming from the Celestion equipped version. this isn't to say that there's a huge voicing difference- no. if you still insist on the Sound Drive distortion voicing & prefers a Celestion complement, then it makes sense to purchase the head & match it to a Celestion equipped cab.
however, one of the better solid state combos, Peavey's Bandit, doesn't need a Celestion to sound great. it's all about accepting what's on offer. cheers!
Thank you sir for the fast response,
Do you know where can i find a Peavey bandit in singapore? the reviews seems good.. How does the clarity match up against the Sound drive's cleans?
swee lee has 'em. the celestion equipped SD has a more attractive clean voicing. the Bandit's clean isn't bad but it's nothing sparkling.
