I like everything about my RGD321 so there's no modding it, just an Orange Drop (capacitor) addition. You can see the Indonesia assembly here; things are kept tidy under the cover. Despite this quality put-together, people won't hold Indonesian craftsmanship in high regards. The mention of Made-in-Indonesia would probably be met by an obligatory sighing & maybe some snide remarks thereafter.

all in good time sub. japanese, and more recently korean guitars used to be regarded as budget instruments.
how much that orange drop cap cost?
hey sub, off topic now. how do you store your oddly shaped guitars like the xiphos and bc riches?
budget guitar classification are always about price, not country of origin but we tend to look at the latter.
all my odd-shape/ pointy guitars are in bags. they get wedged between others which can stand well upon storage so they don't get toppled easily :-)
There's a saying about guitar manufacturing: Indonesia is the new Korea.

he he... then the subsequent country will be the new Indonesia :-)
