NAMM '23: Dean

OK... so this is the latest manifestation for Kerry King, it's a Dean Overlord, excessively pointy & hey, there's a Kahler on board. The thing with Kahler today (yes today, not decades ago) is, there are no ready parts replacement if the bridge requires some looking into over time. Dean has made a very bold commitment with KK considering he's living on his Slayer reputation & currently without a band. No disrespect to Mr. King as he has a formidable catalog of crushing thrash tunes under his belt, some of which are definitely industry standard, to say the least.

Nano lord

The original-sized EHX Operation Overlord pedal was more than twice the size depicted here. I love it for the on-board boost feature. Now that the OO is reduced to this pedal board-friendly Nano version, the boost feature is still in tact but just a button at the top left corner of the pedal. Everything is as menacing as its bigger sibling.

Overlord conquest

Despite owning awesome amps in terms of drive, I still make it a point to own pedals. This was my latest acquisition, EHX's Overlord 2-in-1 type OD unit. That military theme coupled with a matching camo green finish is just wicked 😁 Happy midweek, everyone. Updates soon.
