SOLAR now offers a 27-fret model. This here is the ACS1.6FRW sporting a standard 25.5" scale length. ESP & Ibanez did it, now SOLAR has one that should be more affordable than the aforementioned brand names. A GOTOH 1996 bridge in this one. Nice.

Assassin

New from Solar - X1.6FR Assassin. A simple guitar both in features & colour scheme. That red humbucker there is a Seymour Duncan Nazgul so it's clear who this guitar is for. The bridge - Gotoh 1996, is more than competent when it comes to an FR type performance.

In fact, this Japanese iteration hold its own when it comes to performance & reliability. By default, it comes with a thick brass block & steel saddles. Of course, a single pickup guitar will always be a niche appeal but there are fans for sure.
