City Music year-end sale: Recommendations (Part 2)

It has always been the case of, gee, which wah pedal should I get? I'd say if you are starting out, Vox's V847 is one to consider. This pedal gives you some of the best wah tone to start with, very fundamental yet appealing & workable. If you aren't a newbie, then the V847 serves as a reality check- this is how a good, basic wah tone should be.

SALE: $81

You need a LINE6 tone on the go but you aren't using it on the floor, more of a desk top, fill-me-when-I'm-in-need utility application; the Pocket POD Express is it. You just work with the fundamental editing options here because you already like what the manufacturer has to offer. The Pocket POD range of effects unit is one of the best hardware out there which sounds superb through audio, non-guitar inclined drivers ('speakers' to the rest of us...).

SALE: $117

it's ironic that city music (singapore) and ck music (kl) both have year end sale, both sell the same item/brand, both sound almost the same citymusic-ckmusic, even their logo almost the same, and both prices were same (after forex)... man, do they have a link/connection somehow?

" whatever guitar that goes in through line 6 comes out almost the same sound "

do you agree ? since you have a wide range of guitars.

it's not just LINE6, it's the case with many other digital units. these gadgets merely need a guitar signal to trigger their applications. we keep thinking it's the supremacy of our guitars but then again... :-)

Hey Sub

the Pocket Pod pack is selling for $193...for $75 more would you recommend it over the PPE?

the Pocket POD appeals to those of us who are particular about tonal editing. the PPE on the other hand, is for dweebs like me who don't think too much on some days; we just wanna plug in & play :-)
