New release by Fender (Japan), the Starmaster.
It's really a hybrid of its Starmaster (neck / headstock) & the Jazzmaster models. That headstock there, well, it's not nice to put it politely. Then again this headstock outline has its cult following. As for me, I'm not obliged to like it.

ssen & played it when I went to japan last week - the colour on the front is just for the top, the sides and back are the colour of the elbow relief.
It's a really really big guitar - the jazzmaster body is already bigger than the tele/strat length-wise, the headstock adds to that length!
Anything that adds on to length will make it difficult to find a suitable bag. I just can't click with that headstock design 🫣
