Audio clip1: Power Stack + reinforcements

How beneficial can a drive type booster + chorus be to your primary distortion unit? I've linked up my Ibanez Bass Tubscreamer & Carl Martin's Classic Chorus to my BOSS Power Stack as above. The amp in use is my Blackheart Killer Ant, the guitar- my Ibanez RG471. I'm using my bridge pickup exclusively; it's a Duncan JB. Listen to the above set up in action: power stack ibanez rg471

emm... it's an on-the-spot take, he he... entirely made up on the spot, have no records of it anywhere except for the memory pockets in my brain (maybe) :-P

Nice! Wonderin if the noise gate can get rid of the 60s cycle hum on strats. :/

i am preparing some clips for that, exclusively. i have the P-90 clip done in the mean time, as soon as the single coil clips are OK, they will be available here :-)

"Sorry, File not found!" Am i the only one?

will check when i reach home- thanks for the heads-up. blogger rejects a direct upload (error message every time), the reason why the file was hosted.

"i struggled to do a full sweep initially", You sure or not? Hehehe... Jgn Marah...

Anyway bro, nice tone and play. How did you record it? And MORE please...

after some proficiency in 'normal' playing, i was busy hearing out other techniques, sweep arpeggios was one of them. couldn't sweep initially, was a total failure, got very depressed when i hear sweep phrasings being incorporated into songs because it reminded me of my short-coming. so the only way to get me out of this- teach myself :-)

can't say that it's my favourite tone, but awesome playing! u shld play more, seldom get to hear you play! what do you mean when you said that u broke down the sweep into 2 parts? like practice sweeping top 3 strings, then subsequently the next 3?

struggling with sweeping myself, tips would be good! =D

thanks :-) that's basiclly it- playing some strings at a time, them putting them all together. for me, i actually added notes to make the sweep pattern more familiar initially then upon combination, i subtracted those excess to make it a 'regular' sweep pattern. it's my own concoction so it works for me, he he...
