Yamaha's PAC510V is one of 4 new Pacifica models released at Musikmesse recently. It's been a while since anything enticing was released by the manufacturer in the Pacifica turf, so it's good to know that there are recent developments. I'm quite a sucker for single pickup guitars, definitely considering this one since there's a Duncan in there.

I'm quite excited with this too! just wondering what that toggle switch is there for, considering only one pickup =)

Pherhaps a simple kill switch ?
Btw Its a p90 right ? If for humbucker maybe coil split.
E-Ray
taking the cue from Duncan, the 3 way selector should offer us: 1. Full humbucking 2. P-90 only 3. Rail single coil only
i didnt know that. Hahas
I thought that a p90 was only a p90 and cannot split.
So a p90 is possible to split to humbucker and single coil?
he he i think you are confused... :-) the pickup in there is Duncan's P-Rails- it's a P-90 + one rail type coil. it's a full fledged humbucker but with the options to split it either way- cool yes? i have it in my RGA32. here bro: http://theguitaraddict.blogspot.com/2010/06/deactivated-ibanez-rga32.html
Now i get it! HAHAS Thanks for clering things up.
And yes its a pretty cool feature. :)
Cheers
