Here's another attractive Yamaha debuting this Musikmesse, the Pacifica 611H. The pickups in there are:
- Neck: Duncan P-90
- Bridge: Duncan Custom 5
Do note some design revision over at the headstock- it looks wider & sports a different font for the decal. the guitar in its entirety looks simple enough to deliver some good tones, here's some convincing:

Owh mannn, this guitar is desirable indeed! a strat body with a hardtail bridge , graph tech string saver saddles, grover locking tuners , push pull coil split and not to mention the pickups.
Price, i estimate it to be more than $1000.
Where its made in ? The older 612v were then made in korea, with seymour pups the guitar howl SWEETNESS...
I've been searching the net but cldnt find any information of its make.
Btw i feel that its going to be expensive although all the videos and reviews says it is very affordable.
Cheers
it's super new, even the yamaha website has no updates (yet). most probably it's gonna be a mid-price affair.
Always feel yamaha guitars are underrated and felt that the company could do more to its guitar range. Looks like this guitar may just do it for them.
the were once hot, then the guitar focus somehow waned. Cort is the other overlooked guitar brand IMO.
The Pac 611 will be around 550 - 600 €
I guess it will be around 800 $, maybe 700 ..
The 510 is around 400 € i guess it will be 600 $ maybe less
And these Babies are Indonesian made.
those considerations are not important to me :-) it's how it plays & sounds like when i play it.
sub im thinking of getting SWING PRISM ,its my first guitar actually ,do you thk i should wait for this yamaha 611 to come,or just go ahead with the prism? and yes theyre both made in INDONESIA right?
Swing's Prism has a good Strat vibe to it, the PAC611H on the other hand won't be in the same turf, tone-wise. i guess that's something for you think of here- what do you want in terms of tone?
i've played the Prism many times @ SV, they are very well made, good default pickups as well :-)
i'm going to ask you to ignore where these guitars are made in- let's respect good workmanship regardless of where the instruments are crafted in. i've seen horrible american made guitars & good Indian Jacksons, so what's the point, really...
holy...
Please, Can you tell me the nut width? thank you. This is very important for me to buy it. Daniel
it's not available here yet...
passed by plaza singapura, store was still close but i think i saw a 611 hanging there..
