It's just another amp talk, but it's a little different. Too many of us are too engaged with the pre-amp tube of our amps, that's because we can't truly crank our volume up to enjoy the other drive source in there- the power tubes. But with the smaller, lower wattage amps these days, some of us are making sure volume/ power drive is making our tones sing sweeter. Germany's Palmer amps has this DREI head to underscore what power amp tubes can do for us, in fact, they are letting us have a go at 3 of them in a single sitting- that is, if you wish for all 3 to be in action. yea man. so far, for single end tube amp, i only know of the blackstar ht-5 which has an effects loop. most of the 5 watters are non master volume designs and they have no effects loop. considering using a dr Z attenuator for higher watt amps now after all the hype about low watters.. :/
do share if you know of any other single end tube amps with effects loop!
