The 'new' Fender Strat (American Standard) at Musikmesse isn't entirely new (we already know this, yes?). It's given a set of custom shop pickups & some aged parts (the reason you see cream coloured pickup covers & knobs in the pic above). You want one?

It's never gonna be 'right' for me if they don't address the neck-body heel :-P
doesnt look like its got anything special other than new pickups. no point in getting one imo lol
for those of us who believe those custom shop pickups would do us good, it's a sensible buy. i've yet to see the prices for these models, it would very much determine if it's worth paying more for them...
