A cut below

I still do not use a guitar brand string cutter. It's not about availability but I prefer the budget version out there that isn't costly but gets the job done. The ones you see above are Chinese products, A costs $2.50 while B is $4.50 & they are of different brand names. I started with A years ago, the spring gave way & it was eventually misplaced when I brought it to the office. I bought B as a replacement but it wasn't an upgrade so to speak. The fancy yellow / black grip sleeves do not stay put while in use & adjusting them back to place was simply annoying. More importantly, the blades were made from softer metal & those got chipped along the way & were rusty as well. So it's back to A. I am happy. 😎
