Not coming here

A new finish for the Ibanez RG652, Japan exclusive. Well, just looking. 😒

Price watch: As much as

These Ibanez Prestige RGs sport the same price tags. That's right, different number of strings but the exact prices for you. Other online references- the 6-string version costs less (duh).

RG Ash

Still at the Ibanez front- the ash version of the RG652 gets a new finish. This was listed in the 2017 catalog in January but only released now (Summer).

The 52s...

These Ibanez RGs might look familiar to you because they were once mentioned here: CLICK

They are finally available at Swee Lee but the down side- black only (what!?). For that particular reason, I'm not going to fork out any more money on another black guitar despite knowing these are awesome instruments for the money.

In Japan, the RG652 is offered in white.

It's also offered in this stunning blackwood top finish.

You want a maple board version? Here... You know what, these variants are even available in the UK so I guess, this country is not as deserving when it comes to this consideration.

Ibanez 2014: Good fix trio

I tried to ignore these guitars (T-B: RG652/ 752/ 852) but I couldn't. They are 3 of the new models introduced this year with fixed bridges. As I get older, I am more inclined towards no-frills bridges so these 3 are indeed appealing to me. The thing is, Ibanez is only making them available in Europe & Japan so the chance of seeing them in the stores here are very slim. Sometimes I don't know if I should feel lucky living here.
