Weekend metal assault

This was my set up last weekend:
  • Kramer Vanguard
  • Marshall JVM
  • MXR Distortion
I played standing up & it was rather taxing for the back but it's nothing compared to my RG7. This guitar retained tuning very well; I didn't tune it upon plugging it in.

In addition to all things metal, I did end up playing some blues, employing the pickups' split mode despite them still being humbuckers by doing so.

Kramer Vanguard Part2

The Kramer Vanguard comes oddly with only a solitary strap button located at the body's bass-side tail bout. If you'd wish to strap this guitar, the other end of your strap slit would go into...?
This other strap button is my own installation, the reason its screw isn't black. If you wish to acquire this guitar, you are hereby forewarned of the lack of a complementary strap button, please do not blame the seller/ dealer for its unavailability.

Kramer Vanguard

Got my Kramer Vanguard today, specifically chose the non-vibrato bridge. I'm usually not too keen on V-type guitars but this one's superb for the asking price.

The Quadrails (each coil is humbucking) pickups are intriguing but if you wish for immaculate single coil tones from this one, steer clear...
