Gibson: SGJ

Between the two new J-models offered by Gibson, I chose to acquire the SGJ. I'm just very happy with it; a simple, no frills guitar for those of us not particular about cosmetics. However, still deciding if I wanna keep or ditch the default 4XX humbuckers.

how's the internal pots/caps wiring? using PCB like LP tribute? or free wiring?

how does it play compare to a regular sg standard?

the neck has the same profile as the standard but this gloss-free finish entices movements; the shred dweebs could appreciate this. it's also lighter & manifesting that neck-dive remedy when you play sitting down. it's like, hey, i don't need to hold the neck up too much while playing & even if i do, it's much lesser effort than the standard.
