The new Schecters at Davis GMC include the full range of the Damien Platinum models. These are basically set neck models with EMG (Sustainiac version also available) humbuckers, flying bat inlays & (exclusive to this range) reverse headstocks.
I've given them a go & they are likely to appeal to those of us in need of a sleek playability without having to deal with excessively slim necks & lots of active pickup power. The satin, gloss-free finish might dichotomize fans but all in all, the Platinums are good guitars to own for the money; lots of contemporary features at very affordable prices.
