You might have seen this in another incarnation called the Nighthawk in its Gibson lifetime but this is now the signature model of Nancy Wilson (Heart). It's called the Epiphone Fanatic & retains very much the Nighthawk essence, including the 25.5" scale length. Nice to see an ebony fretboard there as well & you get a hardcase with this purchase. I used to be attracted to the Nighthawk once. It's less overwhelming than its Les Paul brother & that simpler bridge there is my kind of feature. What was the deal breaker? The slanted pickup. If you dislike what the manufacturer has to offer, there is virtually no other after-market replacements that are slanted by default.
