There is a slew of new Ibanez updates at the manufacturer's website. I will deal with the guitar segment later. The one thing that caught my attention is this bass - a headless unit with uncompromising details plus maximum playability. Not really visible here but that fretboard is a birds eye maple affair & baked to please.
I find the body outline more intriguing from the rear but the overall design simplicity is attraction per se. If there's any firm indicator here, Ibanez is moving on with a more daring design ideas. They are more successful with basses in this aspect & doing away with a recognizable headstock outline is a bold move indeed. There might just be the guitar g=version of this in time to come, only time will tell. (Pic: EHB1000)
