There is something about brutality that is best left to the fanatics. Enthroned consists of a quartet of such individuals, despite not featuring any original members to date, the band remained relentless. Obsidium is a black metal serving which isn't exactly refreshing but there is a clever routing in this one as illustrated by Nonus Sacramentvm (Track 2). As the world continues to lament the dilution of black metal by the fusion of delectable ingrdients, we shouldn't forget the existence of the raging core despite being numbered. Obsidium is definitely one-up in terms of intent, impact & musicality compared to Pentagrammaton & Tetra Karcist.
