No idea if it's a permanent come-back but the new Ibanez RG470 sports the Duncan/ Ibanez pickups. Thusfar, Ibanez has no issues bearing allegiance to DiMarzio, Seymour Duncan & EMG pickups. There is a pronounced inclination towards DiMarzio but it goes to show that Ibanez is OK with other appointments as well.
