Sumptuous chamfering

This is Fret King's Eclat model. It's just another Les Paul copy indeed...

...but it provides one of the most generous elbow chamfering for a guitar of this design. I believe the Les Paul would be a more enjoyable instrument given a thoughtful design revision; chamferings for the elbow & ribcage area would be wise.

Epiphone Ultras and Ultra-IIs have rib contouring, at least (I own an Ultra-II). It's a terrific guitar!

the Epiphone Ultra models are the few Epis i respect. i did a review of it some time back but people are still not convinced of the benefits of its revision: http://soft.com.sg/forum/guitar-reviews/16213-epiphone-les-paul-ultra.html

i've been playing a strat forever it seems but i've always admired a les paul being a jimmy page fan, i tried a epiphone les paul model the other week and it seemed clunky..a contoured body might change my opinion...
