Tribal Explorer

This is something we don't see too often- a whammy bridge in a Gibson guitar (2009 Limited Edition Gibson Tribal Explorer). Let's face it, which 'normal' person would be very enthusistic with such a contraption in a 'Gibson'?

Ok, maybe Neil Schon...

Hahaha... it reminds me very much of a Jackson, given the new headstock that both Epiphone and Gibson adopt for explorer-shaped metalhead targeted guitars.

It leaves for much thought given Gibson's recent spout of bold moves to innovate their traditional guitar designs.

unappealing innovation is a mark of desperation IMO...

Hahaha... You might be right, but if you ask me, its back to basics... Tone.

with the Gibsons, generally, people are not into revised details, they like their instruments traditional- because they work as they are...
