The twin menace

The other X-Mini capsule speaker I own is the X-Minimax version which I do not prominently mention here.

It's actually a 2-in-1 unit, the whole can be detached to reveal two halves. I would usually deploy them as depicted above, one of which would be in 'more-bass' mode.

Any tonal difference from the regular, Gen 1 version? None; the reason I don't mention it here as often.

Sub bro,
wanna seek your advice, am looking to buy the xmini speakers for stereo guitar input from my echo park pedal which can be individual mono-A and mono-B out.

If I buy the twin menace I can't set this up because it's just one input split into two speakers, right?

Must I buy two sets of single xmini speaker instead? but that's more costly )=

hi bro, i'd say you refrain attaching this speaker (any incarnations) direct to pedals as it sounds rather horrible this way. the X-mini units sound best with devices offering a headphone-out feature which many multi-FX models possess.

Sub bro,

I do have the yamaha magicstomp think it has headphones output but guess it would defeat the purpose now cos the multi-efx won't have the stereo in from say the echopark.

that is very helpful though very painful information to know! Thought I could have a cheap getaway to a stereo "amp" setup for stereo output pedals! You definitely saved me from S$80 to $90..
must I now buy another Ibanez Valbee to get true stereo at a price? )=

ah, then getting another amp would be your appropriate solution. if there isn't a pressing need to go stereo, then maybe you can save yourself some money... but then again, the stereo tone is so, very tempting... :-)
