The Amazing Spidey

It's an entertaining instalment, this Spider Man movie. If you have been following the Tobey Maguire version, please be informed that it's not a sequel, it starts all over again but the fundamentals of the story sticks to the original Marvel dictation. This take went off-tangent with the inclusion of the plot to uncover Peter Parker's past, especially the unravelling of his parents' disappearance but (spoiler alert) no comprehensive discovery was presented so it reeks of a sequel. What the heck, we KNOW there's a sequel because there' Flash Thompson in the movie (Flash = Hobgoblin) & Spidey's girl isn't Mary Jane Watson.

True. But Flash is not Hobgoblin. In the comics, he got framed to be the identity of Hobgoblin because he despises the Hobgoblin, if I'm not wrong. Though I am glad that they went with Gwen Stacy, afterall, she is Parker's first love. I'm hoping for a sequel to, The after credit clip got me wondering. Heck, we know that Gwen Stacy dies in the comics, not sure if they want to follow the comics. It was indeed an entertaining film.

But more importantly, it's what the movie will turn him into, in future instalments...
