Drive capacitor

i heard the industrial overdrive on the webby. sounds warm and creamy though it lacks serious punch. i think this is only for an on-board boost for solos or something. not really meant to take over a drive pedal per se lol

it is a drive source, no doubt, but not comparable to one which has an independent power supply- our pedal. one thing to note is that of you like your cleans, this capacitor won't help preserve that.

o.O but i thought it said the drive can be turned off? or is it that it roughens the tone up abit even when its off?

the black ice is just a pair of diodes which you can get at sim lim square for a few cents . anyone with a soldering iron (and some experimentation) can do it. they even have parts lists online!
