Takamine: D20

You wish for a no-frills acoustic (strictly acoustic, no plug in option), you want something reputable, affordability is your top-most consideration, a solid top option is not a must but more importantly it should sound & play well. Here you go- Takamine's D20. The test model I handled had an arguably high action but it's most probably to accommodate a  medium string gauge. The D20 has a more appealing pick volume rather than going at it with your fingers. But here's a bonus consideration; it's on sale at Davis GMC, $199.00 (bag not included).
