Still in distortion mood. The previous owner of the above-depicted Blacksmith pedal thought this is a heavy metal type but it's not. It's just a distortion unit bordering on the DS-1 performance, maybe a little more foreboding in certain settings. The Blacksmith name & its black presence might imply heavy metal intensity but it's not as biting as it's intended to be. I don't mind giving it a second chance. A distortion unit with a 3-band EQ will always be my thing.
