It's rather ironic that Paul Gilbert, a long time humbucker fan, now has a single coil (DiMarzio) under his name. Well, not exactly single coils as the Injectors are hum-canceling but they are not full-sized humbuckers either so we get the best of both worlds. It's also a smart move by not having a person's name to these pickups. More importantly, let's acknowledge the fact that this is an effort to bring the single coil to be on par with the full-sized humbucker when it comes to distortion manifestation.

I just realised that all his Pups on his guitar are slanted. Will they be able to work on say a fender neck and mid pup?
take down your Fender's string-pole pieces spacing ratio, when the Injectors are here, measure them up. this would be conclusive.
