Schecter is one of the very first guitar manufacturers to reveal the 2011 offerings, I've picked 3 models here which are good considerations. This V-type unit is Gary Holt's V-1 (Exodus) signature unit. The pair of red EMG humbuckers there got the online community talking not because of the colour per se but the fact that Mr. Holt had commissioned active units in his guitar after saying he has a passive preference. i might just get another budget 8-string for that passive pickup alternative. maybe. bet there are other enticements by other manufacturers come 2011.
