If you are waiting for the new Standard RGs featuring the EZII bridges, they are now in stock at both SV Guitars & Swee Lee. Good news to those of you who are rather particular with an Ibanez neck- the new Wizard III profile feels slimmer than the former Wizard II. However, not all of us are comfortable with thin necks, you go try them out & decide.
Also in store are the 24-fretted S-series. I managed to try the S570 today, somehow, the INF pickups in there sound more acceptable this time round.
What? No price updates? Oh, gee... you can refer/ call the stores to find that out, yes? *SIGH*

how does the wizard 3 compare with the wizard 1?
what kinda inlay on that S570 anyway? looks awkward... (i mean the name, not the material)
just to clarify before i proceed- are you referring to the Wizard? because there is no 'Wizard 1'... in the Wizard family, the thinnest ever conceived was the Super Wizard, followed by the Wizard.
Sub, I was just browsing SV's website today too. Reading got me interested in the EZII bridge as well as the ZR bridge.
How do they compare, please kindly share your opinion since you gave it a go? Greatly appreciated!

sorry i mean the wizard, in my country ( thailand ) we call it wizard 1 and wizard 2, sorry again
the EZII bridge is a simplified version of the EZ. it's effective, reliable, more buoyant compared to the EIII (not saying the EIII is a dud). the ZR is 'bouncier' than the EZII due to its ball bearing pivot system- you can achieve some of the smoothest whammy manipulations with this one but it's rather heavy, adding weight to the instrument.
the Wizard III feels slimmer than the WII but it's definitely not the slimmest. i prefer the WIII in terms of the sleek feel but i won't equate thin necks with better playability- it just feels different & would appeal differently to some of us.
