My newly acquired SZR520 & my Sound Drive amp made last weekend enjoyable. I'm still having a hard time accepting the SZR's outline; it looks retarded but this is something personal, to be fair to the instrument. The overall tone churned out by the above combination is very pleasing especially when I'm one who is distortion inclined & particular with single note definition.

Good tone, nevermind the looks
My newly acquired SZR520 & my Sound Drive amp made last weekend enjoyable. The tone may be pleasing but the look puts me off too. I dunno about you, but the look of a guitar can inspire me to pick it up and play with it more often. Heh.
i used to be like that- too affected by looks to appreciate the other good attributes of the instrument. i was really upset upon knowing the discontinuation of the SZ only to be replaced by this arguably ugly SZR, especially so when the latter isn't original; it's the Ghostrider in essence.
