Rosewood Eric

Hmm... another Eric Johnson Strat this 2009, but the tone ranger prefers a rosewood fret board this time round.

The outstanding feature here is of course, the bound neck edge. It's not really apparent in this pic but Mr. Johnson instructed the pickup mounting screms to sink flushed into the pickguard.

hi sub. saw a few posts about amp alternatives on SOFT. would like to ask if it is better for me to get a MS2/MS4 or a x-mini capsule speaker? which is louder and has more tone? i'll most likely be connecting either one to a pedal or my pocket pod express.

hi bro! :-) i did receive your SMS, was gonna ask you for your e-mail addr instead... he he.

pocket amps should not be acquired to rival a full-fledged alternative. they sound very fundamental, annoying to some of us. my pocket amps manifest digital signals better than pedal induced tones.

the X-mini capsule speaker would only work with devices with a headphone outlet. in any case, it sounds great for indoor use. i prefer hearing it in action rather than my pocket amps, tone-wise.
