I recently read this over at guitarist, Reb Beach's homepage: Finding a genuine WRB-3 today is an almost impossible exercise as there were only 100 made.
Ironically, the WRB pictured above (with EMG pickups) was available at Swee Lee (until recently), was left literally to rot. Strings were rusty & the hardware was disintegrating. It all goes to show how much a guitar is worth in the community it existed in.
I have personally played this guitar while it was still in store, the tone was evidently made for all-out distortion. It has very little appeal played clean but the playability is amazing, considering the individual it was conceived for. I am averse to signature models so the WRB wasn't a hit with me.
