Which blues?

Was in the guitar store today, a chap was looking for a BOSS Blues Driver...

... but pointed to Marshall's Blues Breaker II instead.

If he had bought the BBII, went home, discovered the error, who's to blame? This is why it's important to know what you are buying to avoid such incidents. There are so many ways to prevent this omission; write it down on paper, store the image in your cellphone, ask a friend along, etc. It just takes a bit more effort on our part, as buyers, to prevent such a regrettable outing.

I did alert him of his error.

any idea how this blues driver @ blues breaker sounds like? does it same as chorus pedal?

hi bro :-)

these pedals are distortion units, sounds nothing like a chorus. players like the Blues Driver because it sounds rather unique (subjective); bits of distortion & overdrive in a single pedal; a great enhancement for that single coil twang.

since u have marshall blues breaker II... have u tried marshall JH-1 the jackhammer distortion pedal?

yes i did- didn't like it, not as versatile as i thought it would be + it doesn't really emulate a specific Marshall (amp) distortion... i bought the Guvnor + instead.

i play lots of heavy and thrash metal, which pedal do u recommend other than MT-2?

how many distortion pedals do u have?

the MT-2 was the first intense distortion pedal i acquired. as i went along, i began to dislike the MT-2 as it muffled up tone at higher volume settings. then on, i bought/ sold off many pedals only to realize the best distortion are the ones default in the amp. if you happen to like any amp distortion, all you have to do is beef it up & your tone is made.

i can't recall how many distortion units i own right now, might be too many, he he but the best thusfar for heavy, intense tone (&is my personal fav) is Biyang's Metal End King, in terms of affordability & ear candy on offer. 2 other pedals would be the tube equipped Metal Mayhem (Seymour Duncan) & Metal Monster (Guyatone). me recent acquisition, the Fullbore Metal (MXR) is also fantastic.
